Iv taken my steering wheel off to change my ignition switch simple enough, i drove it around with out airbag with the SRS light on. then I put it back in with all the plugs in the right place, left battery off for a minute or two and the light wont go out

any no how to reset it???

i need it to go out for a WOF check

Take out the bulb. If you need to check if the bag is working just get the car up to 88 miles per hour and then hit a tree, if the bag doesn't go off, then the airbag doesn't work

Seriously though, you might have to get a scan tool and remove the srs fault code. Check if a local mechanic has one

Pretty sure they will check the SRS light is working when they turn the ignition on?

Definitely should get the code removed, super cheap has a code interpreter I fairly sure.

It would be awesome if they came with a "fun bag" light. It would only light up when a girl with a nice rack sits in the passenger seat!

was gona cost me $70 to reset if it don't have any faults  :(

so I unplugged the air-bag ecu and made a ne555 chip timer to turn off the SRS light after 5 sec of turning the key, cost me $6 for the components bout a hours to make

and wof recheck PASS

I know im necroing an old thread, but reading through this, was throwing the airbag wheel back on and resetting the ECU/taking a terminal off for 15min not gonna be a fix for the WOF?
