I have a 1992 ford laser that was rescued from the wreckers, it was mostly intact, although I had to drive to another wreckers to get a replacement rear door that was harvested by someone who was there first.

 

It was only a temporary car just to have for a short while till I got the 4g63 in my lancer.................that was 4 1/2 years ago.......you have no idea how much self loathing I have. I just huddle down so no-one sees me, imagine

 

Quasimodo with a licence and you're getting close. I've put over 110 000 hunched over with embarrassment ks on it.............. better than walking I suppose

Hmmm.. almost got me thinking about selling my UF Nimbus now. It just sits there hardly driven at all. I only drive it once a week about 50km to take my son to Soccer and back. That's it.

Its done about 60,000kms since engine rebuild in 2009 and was used as my daily driver to work and back up until 8 months ago when I got a company car. It's got all power options. Aircon. Drives fine. Condition is what you expect from a 21 year old car I guess - but I do maintain it and everything works. I see them for sale in Carsales for about $2500+ but Im thinking I'll just put it up for $2k and be done with it. Its a manual transmission too which are harder to find. I think these days their 4G64 7-bolt engines are worth more than the cars they are bolted in lol. BUT, it does its job as a cheap runabout and doesn't cost much to keep on the road.  Daily driver's aren't meant to be cars you spend $$ on doing up, but I put a set of mags and good Bridgestone tyres on it to make it handle better in the wet (something they really need help with when only fitted with stock wheels).

I've got two VR4's Jack. I'm gonna bomb the other one :D

I'm gonna flick the Excel, it's too small for my fat ass.

So I've gotta choose between the RVR and VR4. Tough decision!
