I'm using a Walbro 460 in my fuel tank. Look in my Rides thread for info on the install into a GSR/EVO AWD fuel tank with pics.
Man, the thing pumps out fuel like a water hose! No chance in hell you will max it at 400kw atw as long as you provide good voltage to it and bigger fuel lines.
I know people using twin pumps to push fuel through - and they need to because they need more oomph to push fuel through the oem smaller diameter fuel lines (like a thin straw).
But fit fuel hose with even just a small diameter increase, then the fuel pump doesn't have to struggle as much to push more fuel through as the force/pressure required to push it is has reduced (bigger straw).
Im sure there will be several different opinions on the matter.
But from personal testing, all I'm going to say on the matter is that when I took my fuel rail hose off and cranked the engine over, it would have filled a can of bake beans in 2 seconds easy!
Oh, Im making 330kw atw on 30psi on 98 pump. Not E85, but Im sure it'll handle it
AND IT IS MUCH QUIETER THAN A WALBRO 255!!!
