yeah it is the plan, i already average 80km/hr on the dirt roads as it is, I dont think its possible to go much faster without it starting to be dangerous as the roads are to narrow for cars to pass in some sections and being mostly forest its hard to see around the corners but even if it helped prolong the life of the bushes would be a good start, as i dont think the bushes are doing to well at this ride height.

also if i hit that bridge at more than 5km/hr i think it would collapse lol  :P

One bloke at the end of a 5km section with a UHF radio doing an 'unofficial' road closure, and passanger giving pace notes dude! Much safer!! I dont think I'd ever be at home if I had access to those roads. Lucky bastard.

I'm on PC for the first time in a while and notice your in Taree. I grew up in Moree, and as much as a shithole as it was, you tend to miss those little things (sweet roads) when you live in cities.

yeah there are some awesome roads around here for rallying on, but then i am jealous as i cant have nice wheels on my car as they get cracked, bent, destroyed and my car is covered in dust inside and outside all the time, but its only for a year or 2 then i wont have to use the dirt roads as much so i can lower it and put my wheels back on  :)

so for the time being ill just have to make the most of the dirt roads

probably nothing, the ones im thinking of stick out past the guard a bit, and we all know that police dont like anything poking out past the fender. Just dont want to give them any reason at all to harass me, i like flying under the radar

Most mudflaps do stick out past the guards...thats the whole point of them.
But I do understand the flying under the radar bit.

This is why I am wary of doing anything, theres rules and regulations for everything

I think there saying mudguards must be fitted to be legal, but the ralliart ones are mudflaps, its all to confusing

32 Mudguards and spray suppression
(1) A vehicle must have firmly fitted a mudguard for each wheel or for adjacent wheels.
(2) However, subclause (1) does not apply to a vehicle if:
(a) the construction or use of the vehicle makes the fitting of mudguards unnecessary or impracticable, or
(B) the body or part of the body of the vehicle acts as a mudguard.

(3) A mudguard fitted to a vehicle must, when the wheels of the vehicle are in position to move straight ahead:
(a) reduce the danger of a person contacting the moving wheels, and
(B) for the rear wheels:
(i) cover the overall tyre width of the wheel or wheels to which it is fitted, and
(ii) be fitted so the height above ground level of the lowest edge of the rear of the mudguard is not over one-third of the horizontal distance between the edge and the centre of the rearmost axle.
(4) However, a mudguard may be up to:
(a) 230 millimetres above ground level, or
(B) on a vehicle built to be used off-road—300 millimetres above ground level.
(5) The outside of a rear mudguard, except a mudflap, of a vehicle that can be seen from the rear of the vehicle must be coloured white or silver if the vehicle:
(a) is at least 2.2 metres wide, and
(B) has a body the vertical measurement of which is under 300 millimetres at the rear, measured from the lowest point of the body above ground level to the highest point, and
© is not fitted with rear marking plates in accordance with clause 127.
(6) For subclause (5) (a), the width of a vehicle is measured disregarding any anti-skid device mounted on wheels, central tyre inflation systems, lights, mirrors, reflectors, signalling devices and tyre pressure gauges.
