Hey guys, a mate has asked me to put this up for sale for him.

Precision Billet GT30RLB, cost $2700 new.

Came off a worked gsr, has about 2000km on it, was putting out 232kW @ 17psi at all fours.

Having been in the car with this bolted on it's like getting punched in the head with a sledgehammer when it comes on boost.

Car is now being used as a street car so doesn't need that much powah.

He is chasing $1200 Or best offer.

That's not part of the pte billet series.
Where did he get the original pricing ?
Does he have a receipt?
How much shaft play does it have as the oil in the exhaust wheel is a worry.
All these are questions a potential buyer would like to know.
Is it using the Garrett centre section?

Was this on a 93 or a 63? Is it a t3 flange or td04/05?

Some good questions, I don't know the answers to them all so I will try my best to answer...

The shaft play is bugger all,I'll get a video of it and upload when I'm back at work on Monday.

Not sure about the oil in the exhaust side, it's been out of the car for 6 months.

From what I know the pricing comes from the original owner whom he bought the car off( marinetowing was the last owner so you may be able to direct more questions to him).

No receipt as far as I know.

All I know is that he's told me it's a precision turbo, not sure about the centre section, I will ask however.

 

Keep the questions coming, I'll try to answer them as best as I can, I was going to buy this myself but I need to sort out a few things first before upgrading my turbo.

Yep it was mine, done zero work. Was a pte RB turbo purchased from a Garret stand at summernats over 10 years ago for close to 3K, sat in a box unfitted for many years and as mentioned has done minimal work.
