picked this up today.

Imported from japan quite a few years ago and sat around not doing much.

extensive weld in cage front to rear....might be chromemoly

Couple of  velo seats in resonable nick and two TRW harnesses that are no doubt out of date

202 terratrip...not connected to anything

bunch switches that are labeled for everthing including ...Eject!  none of which do anything

rock solid Kyb suspension...was used as gravel car in japan

sump guard

The explanation I was given regards the stock GSR brakes albeit cross drilled  ....it was a group N car.  same for what appears to be a stock looking drive line.

It has wind up windows and no sound proofing anywhere and with an sndf build plate is an RS...but it had some options when when built.

there are a few strange things about it...

stock looking front lower control arm and suspension mounts ...but very noticeable negative camber.

negative camber in the rear as well but looks stock

That looks like it has a lot of potential. What are your plans for it tarmac rally's, dirt rally's, sprints and track days. Is it running ?

Best of luck with it

yes it runs...just. seems to be a relay issue somewhere and it chatters on and off. that cuases the engine to switch on and off rapidly. It stopped twice in the car park where it was stored before I could get it out the gate. Drove it home on a permit ...half and exhaust and all. wouldnt rev over 3000....but that was ok because I was trying to keep it quiet. LOL

plans...well none right now just to get it going faster then ..drags...rallysprint...motorkhana.

Yes

Nice.

I had never seen it, only heard about it. Id thought that he had built it (the cage etc.) but from the sounds of it it came to our shore like that.

Ive known about it for maybe a year...wanted a bit much at first but then came down in price as time went by. he never really bothered to adverstise it as he didnt want to deal with muppets.

So anyway I grabbed it thinking...Ok Ive got a few bits and can make something out of it. BUT yesterday he called and said he had found a few spares and would drop them over. Turned out he had 20ft container full of parts. some VR4...cordia...evo.

I took them ...but as if I need more... so binned a ute load at work. got some really good ralliart parts in the bunch...rear lsd diff....diff protector....a gearbox with code Ive never seen before but is an lsd. some other parts still to come.

those wheels BTW will be for sale....need a clean up and paint tho
