Hey guys.

I'm in the market for a new radiator.

I was looking at the ones on E bay, there very cheap but has anyone used one?

As the cars use is full competition I would hate to reduce the cooling.

So just seeing if anyone has had any prior experience with one.

to get a proper idea of cooling difference....ask for

core thickness....not just header plate width

how many fins per inch and are they louvred

how many tubes on core and rows staggered or in line

then compare to the one you have...or had.

A few extra tubes and staggered is good....less fins per inch is bad....fin design is important but if there is 2 or three extra per inch not critcal to have louvre

I had a chinese one, And couldnt get a radiator cap to fit. Which caused me to do my head gasket. Well I reckon it did it.

So I bought a Koyo radiator for $750. Nice and thick.  And new head gasket. hahah.

Yeah ok, I may go something a bit better, may look at getting a plain PWR core and making my own end tanks to suite my Laminova oil cooler (which runs of coolant)

^ may cost more than purchasing a Koyo and having some additional inlets/outlets welded?
