Hey 4th my old one had the same compartment, also had woodgrain trim going around the inside top of the dash (same level as the clock) all the way round. I just assumed those compartments were standard on all rvr's. Heaps of them had different co-ordinations for the where the woodgrain trim went too from what I've seen here and other places. Very kewl

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

My God!!!!  Tell us more about your speedo set up?  And do you have a build thread?

A bit too busy/lazy for a build thread my RVR is scattered all over different pages....

The speedo, Tacho and quad gauges came from Speedhut over in the states Love them the speedo works on a electrical pulse i used a sender from a Mitsi GTO (screws straight in Just make sure you get the little shaft also :P  )

Tap in the wires for turn signals and high beam, the speedo pulses are just programmed in so it is very accurate .5 of a KM according to my gps

The tacho easy as to hook up and the quad Fuel/Batt/Temp/Oil pressure comes with all senders and the fuel is programmable

The whole thing sits in an old gauge cluster that i just cut out so the stock mounting bits are all there just cut out a new face for the gauges.
