Evo 1 with engine freshly rebuilt:
6-bolt block redone
7-bolt head rebuilt (new valve guides and lifters)
Mahle forged pistons (85.5mm)
Scat rods
ARP studs
OEM head gasket
ACL Race bearings
Polished crankshaft
In your opinion, how much boost can it handle before blowing up.
Staying with stock turbo but upgrading injectors, fuel pump, exhaust and computer to run it, how far can a setup like this go in terms of boost? horsepower?
Let's discuss.

Likely octane?
Comp ratio?
Injector size?
You want it to blow up in a week, a month, next year.......?
Lots of variables mate. Would be much easier to pick a target output and then build to that. Look for the weakest link and limit to that, OEM H/G would seem to be it in your build so something like 17psi might be manageable for a while.

My engine sounds fairly similar to yours except I'm running an HKS head gasket.
I am running around 22PSI. But will be upping to 25PSI, and the engine will have no problem with that.
It was running around 30 PSI on the dyno but the injectors were the weak point.
But I guess you don't really want to find out as that means an expensive rebuild.

So that might be 500 crank hp?
There is a formula to work out hp from increasing boost

Thanks for the input guys.
Just wanted to have an idea of the safety margin.
Not looking for power but more reliability. Car is extensively tracked on road courses.
In your opinion, is 300whp achievable with relative reliability?
