Quick update, I have a set of 280 sticks and some AEM cam gears, I went with AEM due to running the CAS off the intake cam gear on the front of the head. They have the

threaded holes already there to suit the trigger wheel the same as SSG engines. I also replaced all the dash lights with red LEDs, better on my eyes for night driving.

Any reason why you went with such big cams?

My head work will work well with them. I got them at a good price, and they are BCs so they're not as aggressive as some 280s.

How are your 280s going in yours?

Where did you get the globes for the dash colour change? And how many do you need for the lot?

I bought 3 x 10 packs from Ebay. I'm fairly sure you'll need around 12 if you have an auto, I got more just in case I broke some, which I did.

I had to modify them with by trimming up the sides and stretching out the contact wires. Pulling some of the dash apart is a bit of a faff around, a light touch around any parts with plastic tabs like the climate control

↑ These ones look like they have been made with small square board instead of the round board I had with mine, you might not have to trim any of these at all.

That is the worst thing that I have read an understood on the internet in a long time.. Lol

Ben, I had the same climate control LCD in my EC5A. The last guy put two blue high brightness LED's with a really narrow beam angle.
It looked like there was a radioactive rat sitting behind the screen. You can install LED's on all four corners into the light channel iirc. It wasn't easy but it looked a million bucks.

I dont know. Do you want me to scope mine?
I tested a 15a one on a radiator fan and it works as it should. Not the same test I know.

How stupid are robot vacuum cleaners....mine hates power cords, and it driver down off the rug but spazzes out getting back on. Then gets jammed in corner. Gotta go do something productive.
