Hi guys I own a 2003 ce coupe running a 4g93, if you were in my situation would you:

1) Keep 4g93 and turbo

2) Do an engine conversion (cheaper and more potential)

If option 2, which engine would you go for?

Thank you.

You can get a 4g93t from a Ce gsr( I think you'd have to ship one from nz) or go a evo 4-6 2litre. Or you could get the bolt ons from a 4g93t or 4g63t and fit it all to your existing engine and run low boost, this way could be cheaper depending where you can pick up parts but I'd say would be less reliable unless you rebuilt your motor to suit a turbo which would then probably cost more than a whole engine swap depending which engine you go. There was 4g93t to suit Ce on eBay a while ago, think it was around 1200 or 1500, might still be there

Option 3....sell it and buy a GSR.

Probably a much cheaper option and less of a headache.

Agreed, although the Ce is newer and maybe his preferred body shape... Save for an evo 4-6

Does anyone have advice for selling a first car? I don't want to sell it, seems special.

Advice 101.

Log in to Gumtree, ebay, carsales etc.

Write a descriptive ad

Add price and photos

Wait for lowballers and tyrekickers

Sell car.

Easy.

6A12.......

MIVEC[edit]
  • Engine type — V type 6-cylinder DOHC 24-valve MIVEC
  • Compression ratio — 10.0:1
  • Fuel system — ECI multi
  • Peak power — 147 kW (200 PS; 197 hp) at 7500 rpm
  • Peak torque — 200 N·m (148 lb·ft) at 6500 rpm

Build it forged and run a 10,000 rpm screamer......

B fucken sick

That's what I'd do anyway. Wanted to do this to a mirage, but the wife rolled it and killed it dead.
