Do you know exactly what else I'd need to fit this into my Galant VR4?

Does it bolt upto the VR4 engine mounts, gearbox, sump?

Can I bolt the stock VR4 ancillaries onto it? AC pump/bracket, alternator, PS pump/bracket.

Has is been bored previously?

 

I tried looking for that 'Stroke or not' .pdf document to find a bit more solid info about it but I couldn't find it.

front and rear roll stoppers are in a different spot on the gearbox rather than on the block

vr4 ancillaries should all bolt to it without an issue

 

talk to troy he has stroke - in his opinion the best option is 2.2l stroker using a 94mm crank. needs some machining work on the 4g63 block for it to fit thought

Moter is missing the roll stop mounts for a vr4 application. And the crank wont go into a 6 bolt either.

I guess the other question to ask is whether it's CC lancer compatible.

Its 6mm taller. So some say that it needs a evo bonnet. (I will probably lower the engine and box 6mm) we know the 2.0 hits the gsr bonnet, so +6mm is going to hit as well. I dont know how much room a 2.0 has with a evo bonnet.

It probably needs the oil drains in the head face blocked with core plugs.
Other than that, it should be fine.

Im sure it will have a knock sensor bung?

its  out of an nimbus and yes it will bolt up to vr4,gsr and evo 1-3 boxes, 
 

i will throw in the 64 sump, pick up, even brackets for the power steering pumps for those who needs it..

Dont you mean 15" ?

See the 3 oil drain holes on the exhaust side of the head face? They need to be blocked off with core plugs or similar, as the early heads dont cover them up. No biggie as they are only oil drains and there is no more than crankcase pressure on them.
