  • LocationThe home of unemployed bogans - Hervey bay,

Be mindful that sometimes the solenoids can get a bit wonky depending on what environment/treatment they have had in mate, esp if they are from a half cut.

There are some new ones that have a lot of features, albeit not common brands like Apexi, AEM or G-Ready, but still good for the $.

Read heaps of reviews on the types you're thinking of. I wanted to go for an AEM to match my WB, but will probably go for a GFB for around $300.

I bough this one a while back, not sure how much your wanting to spend. The guy who makes these is real good to deal with and I've had no problems with it, comes with a MAC solenoid which are good quality and its a perfect fit into an a/c vent on a cc lancer lol

It also has an programmable output so if you want to trigger an extra injector or intercooler sprayer or something at a certain psi it will do that :)

Cheers guys for the input. I have already committed to an evo3 chipped ecu and as its my daily I won't be going much further with it, unless I buy another car. If I do, a lot model EVO ECU will be the go for sure.
Benny, I'm thinking along the same line as you, sorry Ian....
Obviously if I decide to go wild with the RVR I'll change everything around.
Cheers and thanks once again.
