4G63 engine builder wanted for cash job putting my engine together!

The job is at home in my garage on the Gold Coast. I have everything there ready to go. Once the the engine has been put back to a short block and timed I can do the rest myself.
I'm after someone with proven experience building forged engines (ideally 4G63's)... Job is cash, including meals at mine, beer and a bed if wanted.
Some electrical work may be needed also, plus work for future modifications in the near future.
Call me to discuss details further.

this book is really good. There is a heap of things to be done before putting it together (on a good build). Its all in this book and you could do it before you get someone in to assemble the engine. Assembly is only part of it. Its like painting, all the work is in the prep.

Mannnnnnnnn ^ that guy can talk!
I really appreciate his videos, going to the effort of recording and uploading for the masses, but sometimes, something he could cover in 10mins becomes a 35min video.
It kinda deters you from watching more. Having said that, I've watched quite a few whilst procrastinating.

LOL, I like his droll tone, it's almost therapeutic. I use his vids as refreshers and motivators.
I figure if he can put so much time doing the work and then recording it, plus doing the sound in post, then I have no excuse to sit on my arse when there is 4g related work to be done in my shed!

Reassembling an engine is pretty easy after a machine shop has done all the boring, honing etc. You should DIY.
When taking a block to get done, also take the rods and pistons and crank and clutch. Get the whole bottom end assembly balanced and ask them to fit the pistons to the rods and set the piston to bore clearances up according to the piston specs (take the box and paperwork for the pistons with you). You might want to go that extra step and ask for a line bore too.
When you get it all back, assemble it according to the Workshop Manual which guides you through it step by step checking bearing crush, crank and rod lateral tolerance, ring gap etc.
Bottom ends are actually very basic.

But, you do need a proper shed! A windblown dusty carport off a dirt road is probably not the place to be doing this sort of thing...

but in the op I see a concrete floor and a metal workbench. Looks like a garage at least. Perfect with a good sweep and a hose down for the dust.
