note that their visibility is piss poor compared to oem, however I am used to shitty rear view mirror visibility due to having a sportsbike!
Currently the engine is in pieces and is about to be sent to the machine shop!
All goodies have been purchased bar the oem consumables and some minor bits.
I haven't yet done thorough research on turbo A/Rs however can someone please give me a quick rundown? i.e. gt35 has a multitude of AR options...

Speaking from personal experience I would recommend a GTX3076R with the 0.82 exhaust housing. I have this turbo on my 2.3 and it is abso-farking-lutely fantastic.

Bit of a quick update.
Engine has been assembled with the following specs:
Bottom End:
Blueprinted
Cleaned up oil galleries
Balanced rotating assembly
Kept the balance shafts!
4g64 OEM crank
Eagle H beam rods
Wiseco pistons (9:1)
Bored out to 85.5mm with torque plate (thanks Bazeng!)
IJ crank scraper
King bottom end & rod bearings
ARP bottom end & head studs, harmonic balancer bolt, flywheel bolts
New OEM seals, gaskets & misc bearings
New water pump (aftermarket Japanese brand - thanks Dougmo!)
ATI harmonic balancer (thanks Dougmo!)
Top End:
Decked head and slight intake/exhaust port cleanup
Enlarged oil gallery
OEM valves (reused and ground to match)
BC heavy valve springs and Ti retainers
Supertech intake/exhaust valve stem seals
GSC S3 280deg exh/intake cams
Flexhoned cam tunnel
Updated lifters
ARP cam cap bolts
ARP head studs
OEM head gasket
New OEM seals, gaskets & misc bearings
Adjustable cam gears
OEM timing belt
Gearbox:
OEM CE9A
4 spline centre diff
Competition Clutch (twin plate)
ARP flywheel bolts
Intake Manifold:
OEM mainfold & intake valve
FIC 1300cc injectors
Exhaust Manifold:
Stainless manifold w/external gate
Turbosmart 38mm ext gate
TD06/Garrett GT30 hybrid turbo with 0.8AR V band exhaust housing
There's still a few things left to do, such as get a whole bunch of AN fittings, oil cooler & front mount piping.
Currently getting the engine bay ready (fixed cracked firewall and need to weld in evo strut tower gussets).
Not far now (i've said that before.......)

Get your AN fittings from Speed Pro in Dandenong - they stock the entire Speedflow range and usually express deliver the same day or next.

Haha! Then you need to take into consideration the fittings which don't work the way you thought and you need to replace them with a different fitting.
