For shits and giggles put a strip light under the hood and earthed it off the bonet switch and suprising enough it works really well

How did you connect the turbo to the manifold (bolts obviously!), what's the flange like? Did you use another piece of pipe with a flange on it or did you just drill into the bottom of the manifold and weld the flange on?

Any pics?

Yeah I have picks mate I used abit of 12mm flat bar and tacked it with the turbo in the position I needed then got the die grinder in cleaned the metals and welded it after welding it I used a hand file and made it straight all exhaust joints have sealer on them and gaskets I just made my own everything basically except the turbo

I thought it was a bit primitive at first but it looks like you e done a very neat job and got it all sorted.
I'm looking for a clutch at the moment too, trying to find something that will be kind to the gearbox. Will let you know what I decide on.

As for the clutch I'm wondering between heavy duty exedy clutch or a 8puck semi racing clutch what do you guys think

Yeah I'm not keen on going a puck setup because I'm worried about it exploding the gearbox.
Trying to stay with an organic with sprung centre but get a custom pressure plate made up to hold. I think my issue is with the tension on the pressure plate, as my clutch is pretty much new but slips top of third and most of fourth gear.

Mine slips hardcore in second to third and third to fourt I looked at the puck one but with a spring setup ? What do you guys think my mate has one on the vl but said you can't ride it Much it clunky but it's either in or out no half way like a normal clutch

My experience with pucks is not the same as others. I dont like them, i like organic plates. Mine slipped and when i replaced the 6 puk with a organic plate, it held. May have been the puks were too thin, or too many pucks, i dunno.

The fact about pucks is that the pucks are harder than the flywheel and the pressure plate. So the friction surface becomes those parts, the buttons dont hardly wear. If you try to ride a puck, it will chew out your flywheel and pressure plate fairly quick. Dont ride them.
