Have done some more work to the beast.
Gearbox kit ordered from Repco
Thanks Rockabilly for the part numbers
Motospecs Part Numbers
KPG-1900 Pan Gasket (F4A-33) 14 Bolt Holes
KXF-1905 All Steel Oil Filter (F4A33-1)
and some multi vehicle nulon fluid. Car drives heaps better!
Also replaced the fromt sway bar link, from my local pedders, knocking noise gone!
td05 16G has arrived in the mail today. Cheers for the snapped off bolt in the exhaust inlet.
New sparky leads on the way. This thing should be purring very soon, time for Rego i rekon...
lined up a guy to build me a 3inch exhaust once im on the road.
Just wondering about Rims and Tyres next.
i read that AU onwards Ford wheels will be a good fit, if thats the case there is so many cheap rims getting around.
Could get away with an upgrade for $100 - $200
Any idea what a good boost pressure to run on the stock 450cc injectors will be?
havnt wanted to go to far yet, think this is enough mods for now.
Not sure if the wife is convinced yet, might have to sell it. What do you think a fair price for a HSG auto with 150k is?

Ahh Evo Dad! I see it didn't take long for you to jump on here, I thought I'd come and have a look! Sounds like you are on top of things!
Show the wife how practical it is or just get mine to talk to her

Safe boost for a GSR (same turbo and 440cc inj) was said to be safe at 12 psi then they leaned out, I had mine set on 13 and would momentarily creep to 14 (bleed tap) and when it was really cold it'd spike to 15-17 and if I held it there, it would cough... Violently too, but that was a thrashed leaky 4g93, lol
And to convince wifey, just tell her
"it's not worth selling as there very very cheap now, and to buy a new car would cost too much, so much you probably won't be able to ...(insert favourite activity) for a while, and you've already made enough sacrifices that I couldn't ask you to do that" lol
