Tried to fit a GSR lip on an EVO 3 front bar. Had to cut a section out of the middle to make it fit. Ended up ditching it and using thick rubber strip from a rubber supplier.

So touch wood I've managed to find a fibre glass Evo 2 lip. I need to have it sent over from Auckland, nz to Sydney. Does anyone have a rough idea of what the dimensions would be? So I can't get quotes for transport? I'm waiting for seller to get back to me and wana get quotes together

Be careful with that fibreglass....one scrape on the road and its fucked. No flex like plastic just cracks and shatters.

Oh...so I havent ever had anything fibreglass and Im making it up? Ok then.
If the fiberglass was made using a very flexible resin, then the chances of cracking will decrease, but will still be high.

Thanks guys, I'll be careful regardless. I'm still going to keep my eye out for a plastic one. But it's better than nothing for the moment

When something fibreglass is attatched to something plastic....the difference in the way they react to the forces is what causes the damage....Ive seen and dealt with enough in my previous line of work to know what I am talking about.

Tanks guys, yeah was a pain sourcing it from Denmark, but finally got it. Fits well, minor mods on the edges to make it match the guards, screwed it in and covers the bits and pieces hanging from the bottom nicely. It's nice and rubbery so won't break hitting the parking concrete stops.

This is mine from a Renault Laguna.
Looks awesome bro. I'm just excited to have found a lip. It'll arrive early next week. I put up some pictures once it's all done.
Hey stan, where can I find one of those bonnet guards? I'd be keen to get one of those
