I have one. It cranks my little engine fine. I have had to pull the immobilizer fuse as it drains battery after 2 weeks. And running them down doesnt seem to do them any good.
mine isnt a mjt just some other.

i will get a lipo next time, loved the one in my bike

Unless you want the battery to live on a charger which is apparently the only way to keep them healthy unless you drive the car often??

Leaving car connected to a charger is prolly worthwhile. I have a solar panel that should keep up.
driving car once a week would be ok as long as you pull fuses. Or make sure you have no battery drain at key off. You prolly have a isolator anyway.

check out the lipo. A harley sized one would be big enough

ive had 2 the first one was great it lasted 3 years sometimes with a week or 2 of not driving, the previous owner said he had  it in 3 years prior to my purchase and i ran it down by leaving lights on twice aswell. the 2nd one lasted a couple months i hadnt done anything different i checked if there was a draw and nothing so not sure if i got a dud or what but i couldnt find my receipt so i lost out big time... thinking of trying a lipo myself.

I'm not bald as God only made so many perfect heads and covered the rest with hair. :)

Running one in the Evo X Oldie. Seems ok, will sit for a few weeks and boot it up ok. Lasts for a weekend with rallysafe on 24/7. Constant lite load to empty will kill them thou, not what they a designed for. Just make sure you have no hidden loads drawing from the battery when your cars 'off-off'.

The reason I was thinking of buying one is because my Repco 390 cca battery always has condensation/sweat

that starts the white powder corosion even when it is in the shed and it's pissing me off big time :(

The brass terminals should cure your ills there. They are still a lead acid so will still suffer the 'death by humidity'. 10 years in Townsville taught me lots about batteries......

Got the same one but wouldnt really recommend it. My immobiliser drains it every 4/5 days. Better to get a normal or deep cycle marine with a boot relocation.

FullRiver HC20's are in the Evo's i work on, and also one in my Galant.

Its only been around 6 months in my car, but still going strong, with an alarm and full audio.

Other evo guys have had them for years with no issues, driven on week ends..

Also fairly cheap...
