Fwd and awd boxes are dofferent jack awd boxes sit higher up and the mounts are different shapes in the bolt pattern

then why did ted get a magna mount to bolt on?
Sure the boxes are different, but i thought (and ted says) that fwd bits fit.

from what i gather, ted used a gsr body mount, a gsr gearbox mount, and cut and shut a magna gearbox mount to suit.

I would look at tn-tp magna. Id still look at a proton auto as well, they are afaik a similar box to the magna.

The "U" Bracket that bolts to the box is magna, the eyelet/rubber section of the mount is also magna but i have cut off the mount plate and welded a lancer one on to suit

the bolt hole pattern through the proton body rail.

A great idea IF you want to set the rake on the drivetrain the auto boss recommended it ;) so set your roll stoppers up first then tack up and weld the box mount :P

I would have thought you would set it from a known point.
So in this case, the timing side mount is done. Level the car, left to right. Level the engine/box and set the gearbox mount. Then set the rollstops so the transfer points at the centre bearing.

i believe thats a beer K. Magna fwd mount bolts to awd box. Yea!
Thats prolly makes it 5 i owe you instead of 6....
