Yeah still got the old girl ☺ it's at the Mechanic so no photos.

Took it in cause it wasn't running right. Turns out that shit fuel plus even more shit in the tank plus fuel pump dieing means rvr doesn't go😔

I just swapped out my fuel pump on friday and was looking at a gsr cradle next to the rvr 1 and there are a couple of differences I noticed like fuel pump fittings, gsr had a clip type and rvr has a clamp, rvr also has a extra bit on the side too, although I do think between the 2, it could be made to work with a couple of swapped bits, I just cant guarantee it will, I have a gsr cradle I can get a few pics of for you to compare with

You can get a pump swapped in easily.
the siphon part is interchangeable.
the fuel low level light can be swapped out.
and you can change out the resister track that works the fuel level meter.

Is it only the pump that doesnt work?

The guys that make por15 make a fuel tank restore kit. It is very well regarded.

Thanks for the info I will pass it on to the Mechanic today.

All he has told me is that the fuel sender is broken and needs to be replaced and the tank to be flushed out.

Any photos to compare to would be a great help

Good luck. Might be better with a backyarder mechanic. Sounds like you have a parts fitter there.

Evo00x did a write up about fuel tank restore. Is good. Strap tank to cement mixer with a shovel full of gravel in it. Turn on and block ears. Will be clean inside in few hours. Then do the tank treatment.

Stuff rolling it around the backyard for hours, or shaking it. Cement mixer is great, should see how it cleans mussels

How do you clean mussels?

Doesnt everyone clean mussels in a cement mixer? You cant cook them when they covered in barnacles....
