The Street Machine Magazine SUPERNATS is back on this year for its 21st instalment with a huge two-day horsepower party at Sydney Dragway. Be prepared to see the shine of custom chrome and the sounds of thumping horsepower from the wildest cars in action on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of September 2015.
SUPERNATS features Australia’s best Street Machines, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Elites, Blings, 4’s and Rotaries, Restored Classics and many other styles – even the big rigs come out to play!
With a large selection of events to participate in and watch, the Street Machine Magazine SUPERNATS event features:
- Burnouts – The SUPERNATS main event! The winner of which will qualify for Burnout Masters at Summernats and take home the top cash prize of $5000!
- Outlaw Shootout Drag Racing – The classic dash down the quarter-mile! $20,000 prize money up for grabs – winner takes all!
- Go-To-Whoa – A 150 metre race where competitors launch off from the start line and head for a double set of lines at the other end of the main straight to finish. At the other end, come to a complete stop between the double lines. Be the quickest to do this and win!
- Superskid – A battle of horsepower and vehicle control. An off-the-line burnout competiton without brakes!
- Cork Screw – A unique race format, where you must test your skill going around a set of cones in conk screw fashion, try not to get dizzy!
- Wheel Stand - Where specially prepared vehicles compete in order to have the highest, longest, most photogenic and wicked wheel stand!
- Super Cruise – An event where entrants cruise around Sydney Dragway from the return road via the burnout pit (burnouts allowed!) and back around through the tunnel for more cruising!
- Show N Shine – Judged on class and category, prizes are awarded to the cleanest, most unique and jaw-dropping cars!
