Here's a quick how to on disassembling your Lancer / GSR / EVO 1 2 3 side mirrors.
All the power mirrors are the same with only the guts of the EVO electric folding mirrors being different but these guts can of cause be installed into your already color coded lancer / GSR mirror shells.
It's very simple once you know how. So here go's.
Once you have the mirror in hand. Pash on the top of the glass so the bottom of the glass sticks out as far as it can.
Then place a screw driver under the glass about half way along and lever the driver down so the glass will pop up.
Once it's like this pic you can pull the glass up slightly and pull it gently towards the bottom of the mirror as you lift. This will pop the hooks at the top
Now you can undo the screws on the side piece marked with red dots... The yellow dot is the screw that hold a little L shaped bracket that holds the wires down. Remove this also. !!
Now remove these 4 screws marked with red dots. This will allow the two parts to seperate.
The 3 wire plug on a Lancer and a GSR will happily pass through this little hole but the 5 wire plug from an EVO will need to be removed to get it through. (MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN WHAT COLOUR WIRE GOS WHERE !!)
Now remove these two screws. There will be a black cover over this section you just pull it off in the same direction as the screws remove.
Now remove these 3 screws marked with the red dots
Now just lift the mechanism out. And you end up with this.
This pic shows the difference between a standard power mirror and a EVO flip mirror. ( Standard at the top EVO at the bottom.) As you can see it's only the motor for the flip part that is different and they swap out easy !!
Just reverse the process to put it back together.
That's it. Hope it helps.

I can't see the photos on this post. I have just got my mirrors to fold in again as had to fix the caps in the block box.
The passenger side folds in but drivers side doesn't even though I can hear the motor.
I could get the glass off just not sure which screws I should be removing now to get the folding motor out.
