Man that car paid its weight in gold. Pretty sure ive made back what the rvr cost me so ive got a nimbus engine conversion for free ao far!

Yeah was few bits but people wernt biting so off it went to get crushed.

In the mean time more progress. Just needs exhaust and ecu wired.

Have anyone had success with running a cas on these engines or is it even possible? 8m wanting to just plug in a cas as the loom i have for the motec was off a vr4 motor

Bolt holes are there. Pull that plug and should be fine. Afaik the cam will have the correct slot

ON THE ENGINE STAND. g4cs 2.4l + Gt35r. PLUS: auto conversion + Awd coming.

Id use a vr4 cas too. They are different to the evo. One is optical and other is magnetic or something.

Cheers guys its getting there.

UPDATE. I got a cas off hyundai 2.0l as it is optical it should work with how the motec was set up on the previous vr4 engine.

Got a mint apark plug cover off a galant gsr.

Brass shifter bushers from meek.

All the interior came out as it stunk like dog shit in there and i doscovered a bit of rust where the hatch latches. It must be a mitsubishi nimbus/rvr thing as the rvr wreck had a bit too. Washed the carpet and put the interior back in.

LEFT TO GO. Battery, cas studs and nuts, little bit more wiring and bumper bar back on.

Doesnt yet. Got my mate coming around this thursday just to help with wiring the coil pack and ignition back to the motec and sort the cas studs out and bug a battery.
