So all i wanted to do was swap dump pipes 😧

So i pull the stock dump off the td04 auto turbo and its cracked all around the flapper

Get a vr4 tdo5 turbo and it has a broken stud and a thrashed thread so helicoil that.

Because of the turbo swap i need to swap to the bigger exhast manifold. So while i was doing that i broke stud and found 3 fucked threads so 4 helicoils in the head.

I nearly have it back together so wont be long i hope.

Also using a rvr tranny cooler as an engine cooler as it bolts straight in 👍

Also got the dump on.

Believe it or not its taken 6 months so its more like thank fuck its done rather than excited, but then.......i took it for a spin.

It spools it flutters it breaks traction it turns heads lol

Even with just the VR4 14b all you need to do is tug on the wheel when on boost up to 3rd gear and fries them! All this on 12psi.

Man i feel like im 20yo again its awesome, as i used to have a telstar sedan with a tx5 turbo motor when i was young.

Anyway i got my mate to help with exhaust as we needed to add a flex pipe and a rear muffler with a 3 inch dumper all painted sleeper black.

Also install a free boost gauge but it reads a little inaccurate as you can see in the pic with the motec that cost me $200! It runs dos software but man just with my mate in the yard playing with the start up tune and using the old owners map its so smooth and we still have to dyno it.

Im so stoked with how its turned out so far especially since the only things i didn't do to the car is piping and exhaust. Other than that all done in the dirt out the back.

Went a little crazy on the pics sorry guys, enjoy.

Yeah just a standard 2.4 nimbus box. The diff was already noisey on deceleration when i got the car so lets see how long it lasts lol.

Thanks guys
