Too much tech talk...not enough work on getting it running.

I have finally completed the td06-25g, Ext WG, W/A, IC pipework and fabrication on the HSG-R.

No BOV, it sounds F$%king lethal. Spoolup is awesome and probably only 300rpm above stock, but big topend gain!!

I have it set up running the std ecu to get it running........it's very unhappy when giving it the beans at low speed, lots of boost cut going on in first gear which blows, and it runs off the wideband scale, so more than 10:1 when under boost.

Thankfully I have installed SD, so now i can pull some fuel out and add some timing with ECMlink. But..........the IC pump has failed, it was old and crappy so no big deal, I have a temp gauge for the IC water so that's how i could tell something was wrong. It got up to 60ºc.......not good.
Getting another diaphagm pump ASAP.

Pics up tomorrow

For sure Lars, as soon as I get time to tune it so it doesn't run like crap. I have taken a few logs and I should be able to sort it out fairly quick.........I'm pretty much out of injectors at this point, I might have to put the 1000s in.

I have fitted the E8mr BOV to it though now........due to the way the pipework had to be fitted I need to put the least amount of stress on the couplings as I can. No more dosing :( TBH it got a bit annoying The BOV running straight to atmo sounds really nice.

W/A FTW!

Unfortunately, it's W/A for the lose for me................mine has a leak in it, a bad one. So all this time I've trying to tune up half throttle early boost areas, I've been hampered by water streaming out and making puddles in the IC which then get pushed into the intake when boost starts to build..............

It sure messes with the SD temp sender, and leaves the WB a bit confused as well.

So the car is out of service for a few weeks till I can source a replacement. On the upside it leaves me time to tidy up a few things I've been putting off.

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.
