Would have to be $30k if you do a lot of it yourself. Plenty of usa guys run at that level. Would be only 12 or so that fast in australia. Maybe less, less than half would be auto.
you will be looking towards 1000hp, so thats 50psi. Just roughly. 10000rpm, gt42, meth + no2, custom auto gears, cage, parachute.....

Theres a few of us running autos, and a few thatll take some power and abuse but I dont think there 9 sec, possibly high 10- low 11.
IPT transmissions do full transmissions that are suppose to be the bee's knees, but as mentioned theyre located in the US and ya need deep pockets, even for shipping.
I'm doing a heap of research (web based) on them and am finding them to be a bit of a secret, find my thread and feel free to contribute to if ya find anything, has some parts ya might wanna look at or into in there

I think a auto is cheaper at that power level. Its gentler on drivelines, axles, transfers and gears they will take more power as there is no shock loading of the driveline.
will cost you more than a triple plate, but less than a triple plate, dog box and 4 pinion diff.
You still going to spend 750 to 1k on a high stall torque converter before even starting inside the auto.
they run a season or so of 10s on std transfers, you wont do that in a manual.

Mostly the same. Get a flex plate and new diff ratio. Going that quick prolly needs custom crown wheel anyway.
says drag evo3 in title. Better in mirage or gti.

EVLJOE has run a 9.2 in his satria on 450 AWKW with an aldo (rockabilly) built auto. he's also doing it on a stock stall heavy duty converter. needing a 1000hp is total crap too!

Ok, doing the sums

450awkw is about ==>> 603 HP awhp

If one assumes 33% awd power loss (as previously suggested in another thread) this comes to

603/.66 ==> 913hp at crank

for a 9.2 second pass, so to get into the 8's, gonna need more, so 1000hp at crank sounds about right

Unfortunately it's a big job to run 8s in the early evo's mainly due to not being able to run massive rubber without big mods to guards and drivetrain. You say your making 500kw already so what drivetrain mods have you done so far? If not things can let go at anytime. My car is almost finished and can tell you the drivetrain costs more then the engine
