Got second hand fic 1120cc a while back but one seal was cracked.
New seals on the way so soon to be running E85.

I'll do some logs before and after with same maps as well as once I tune maps for E85.

:)

Mean! I'll be watching this thread bud,
I'm still trying to get the stupid laptop (more likely stupid me, lol) to recognize the ecu scanned through ecu flash... something about rom files and binary... anyway, looking forward to learning something

So what's your exact problem mate?

Thought so.
What mods does your 7 have?
Heavy clutch, 3" dump back exforce exhaust, stronger bov, k&n stock replacement, 1.5bar actuator controled by stock ecu via 2port solenoid, hot side pipework and silicone inlet hose.
My tune with 3bar sensor and aem wideband running 23-21psi of boost.

Nice!
What power does it make ATM ?
I had it on dyne at Rigoli's a year ago but with stock exhaust on it. It made 185kw
Now with new tune and 3" exhaust it feels closer to 200kw.

So how much of a gain are you expecting from e85?
Not too much in kw but I expect to feel torque increase.
I'll do some logs on 98 once i tune big injectors and then same maps on e85 and then tune it on e85,
Also, with e85 you can run a bit more boost safe if the tune is right, so that may be the last thing.
We'll see what will logs show.

Everyone gets 20% with boost and timing on e85. Is there any point using e85 if you not upping the boost past 98 levels?
Jack, as per my previous post "Also, with e85 you can run a bit more boost safe if the tune is right, so that may be the last thing." ;)

I also bought new tyres. Michelin ps3. Needed more grip. My old fidenza used to spin in wet even in 2nd gear :D

I suck with computers really, lol, but on a serious note, I read the ecu with evoscan- all good reads it and saves an 'image' no problems
read with ecu flash and it says unknown da de da then have 3 options: 1 is to discard, 2nd is to look but no edit an save, 3rd option I'll have to get back to ya, but its like the rom files arent being recognized, are they xml format too?
