Took fmic off for inspection & to re-mount front bar properly.. ( old owner used zipties ) let's say that the fmic is dead standard from factory, is this normal build up of gunk or a blown seal? Yes I have heard evo's etc run rich from factory but Jesus there's a lot. Photo attached for pity
Annnnnnd accident history which could possibly mean it's a write off

That oil is normal..due to the fact that the intake draws oil vapour from the head into intake pipe and it ends up all through the pipework.

Twin thermo fan which didn't spin free hand, when mounting it someone used a screw too long and the blades caught... So they left it? 😂 spent about 9-10 hours on the car yesterday getting everything re-aligned as under the headlight is about 3-4cm gap to bar, lined everything up flush, finished putting back on and it's about 1-2cm now fffffffffkkkk. Hopefully hyper flow fmic this week and get rid of the ricer grill

I've seen some videos of people using ECMlink and there is millions of options on there, from changing fuel maps to priming your pumps, setting what sensors you have. But I'll wait for someone who runs one to give you their best feature

If its mechanical then just run the hose through ya firewall an tee it off the manifold,
oh an intake pipes wont really tell ya if ya running rich, considering the air has to get burnt first ya know,
Yeah just the wiring part I'm having trouble with, haha you got me, I ended up figuring that out and couldn't edit, so I'm left looking like a potato

You just need to tap into a wire that only has power when lights are on. Easy to find with a test light.
Same with ign wire.
Like I said.
Easy as. Even for a novice.

Came out for about half hour for a fiddle, the starbo is sitting there but connectors aren't wired in and is causing a big mess. Couldn't get shiz done because I have a multimeter from a friend which I don't know how to use so and the positive pointer is broken. So just gonna get a test light tomorrow and give it a shot. Should I be looking more under the steering wheel or is down closer to the footwell the right spot.
Also any idea what this does? 😂 just chillin here under the seat
And scored a gfb boost controller for $250 which I get next week

Pretty sure that plug would go to the seat belt socket to tell the light on the dash if your seatbelt is on or not

I used just a stereo/amp wire for the ign wire and an earth from under the dash. You could do the same for power with the lights on as well, it won't draw enough to ruin anything and the light inside the boost guage shouldn't be annoying if its on all the time.
The wire under the seat is a weird one hey. Mine sits there as well. Its on the wrong side for a seat belt warning. Maybe some versions of the RVR had power seat movement?
Anyone have ideas?

For ya first time wiring, just go behind the centre console, use the accessory wire from the ciggy lighter and wire the illumination to the light bulb power wire,
ring terminal on the earth wire an attach to the body.
As ya knowledge an skill grows so will the quality an detail of your installs, my first install was done as above, now everything takes power (switched and constant) from the factory fuse box on their own fuses,
