Bush bearing, probably an 8cm rear you've got. Made in Taiwan from memory, can't remember the manufacturer. They also made some crap, but this one is not a bad turbo. A guy in Melbourne (ex dealer) I talked to about them said he stopped selling them because the power results varied so much from car to car. I've got a friend with a TD05 on his patrol and it's been happy on 20psi for a few years now. He rekons they're great. Well priced, and bolt on, I very nearly bought one for my RB25, but went with the comfort of getting a GT3076. I wouldn't be worried mate, they have good reviews in the Suby community and even in the skyline community, just a bit on the small side for rb25s.

thank you for the fast response.. with all the parts I have on my car now would it be able to run the turbo? 14psi is what I'm looking at just to keep it reliableBush bearing, probably an 8cm rear you've got. Couldn't tell 100%, it should be fine. Just wait for another member to confirm. ECU might need something to run it but as far as I'm aware the standard can handle quite a bit. There's people on here that can help you in that department if needed. I was caught in RB25 world for too long with the problem of the ECU not being able to handle a farts more boost pressure than standard. Good luck it sounds like it will go good.

I get the feeling that with a TD06-25G, 560cc injectors wont be nearly enough to make full use of all that airflow? unless you run a rather low boost pressure of course.

Not sure here... Don't they say, in genereal you roughly make 1HP for every injector CC, so 100% duty cycle (you would never do) for a 560cc injector makes around 560HP. These turbos don't usually make anything near 500 on RB25DET. It's silly me referencing a different motor though but the principle is the same.

That's the turbo I have, but not installed yet. Jamo had one on his Evo 3 before he went for a HX35, he will know how they perform on a '63.
They are at home on a lot more than 14 psi, the suggested boost for them is 22psi.
Are you running auto or manual trans?

Its max HP x BSFC to give pounds per hour divided by 80% to allow for duty cycle of injector.
So, it works out that 300hp is safe with 550cc injectors.

Fair enough as well mate.I'm full confused
I was a little apprehensive about posting up my last post. I found the formula/calculation.... Following.
Max HP x BSFC / (#cyls x 0.8) = fuel injector size in lb/hr.
To get cc/minute multiply lb/hr by 10.515.
BTW, BSFC is a measurement of efficiency in an engine. Being relatively stock assume this to be approximately 0.6. The 0.8 in the formula is working of a duty cycle of injector of 80%, safe.
If you do the calculation based on a 6 cylinder, say the rb25, for 300hp you would need about 400cc all things being equal of course.

The turbo itself is good for the price they are...some of the feed lines will need to be modded from your original setup but.
Depending on your manifold you will need to modify your water pipe and possibly radiator fan.

so I should go with the external wastegate set up? Just weld that one on the turbo up?I dont rate the wastegate setup at all..its rubbish.
