Just seeing what options I have for replacing the factory oil cooler and lines. Mines be dropped and dragged along the ground a number of times on and off the car trailer and looks pretty haggard. Pics of setups welcomed

I was limited with space behind the GTi front bar so ran a slimline cooler - basically the same core as a transmission cooler. It's wedged behind the support bar that the bonnet latch is attached to. Seems to be doing the job...

Not sure whats wrong with the factory position ive never had any issues with it i guess you could remount it closer to the headlight

I got this one off eBay, seems to do the job.
It came with stainless braided hose but it wasn't bendy enough so I swapped it for normal oil hose as per the pics

Then a few years later pissed those connections and red hoses off and used Speedflow fittings and blue hoses here: http://www.4gtuner.com/topic/10127-evo00x-evolved-awd-coupe/?p=274233
and added fire sleeving to protect the lines from heat and a few more pics here: http://www.4gtuner.com/topic/10127-evo00x-evolved-awd-coupe/?p=275803
