Nice work, it's a great starting point and a very reliable car, Is it the 1.8i (4g93) or the 1.5 (4g15)?

What are your plans for it?

Save your money up for an evo 4-6 front cut. Then you can drop 4g63t straight in. Get evo box modded with an lsd and altered to fwd and use all the other bits off the front cut and youll have a weapon that changes lanes by itself when it comes on boost

Thats why i made the suggestion gives you plenty of time to save. Plus everything about the design of the 4g15 makes power modifications pointless. It was designed to run on the smell of an oily rag and keep running with very basic maintenance.you would spend thousands to get even 40-50hp increase. Problem with conversions is that with the ce lancers and mirages the engine was turned around from the previous generation platform therefore making a 93t conversion needing a donor ce gsr motor etc and those things were never sold here. Satria gti dohc 93 and aus spec cc gsr motor is around the wrong way for you. 4g92 mivec comversion would be sweet but good luck finding a donor those things are as rare as rocking horse shit. Ive built two of these in the past one with a 4g63t conversion so if you have any questions fire away

Yeah fto mivec v6 goes well and drops straight in. For steering wheel. Pull off the centre of the wheel. Youll need yo get something under the edge of it( preferably trim removal tool) or if you dont cate much for scratching it a screw driver will do. Once you remove the centre (horn button)you will see the large nut that you will need to remove

But don't undo the nut all the way, leave it on a few threads and pull and jiggle the wheel so it comes off the spline and doesn't hit you in the face.

Also take it off with the wheel straight so ots easier to line your new boss kit up on the spline

yea i know about all the other technical points about taking it off, i just needed to know how to get the centre out to get to the spline nut
