[SOLD]

Anyone looking for parts from this car, the new owner has listed the parts here:

http://www.4gtuner.c...-and-aldo-auto/

He was a great guy to deal with, so grab yourself some hard to find bits and pieces!

Purple 1997 Mitsubishi Nimbus, lowered with body kit, turbo RVR Hypergear motor and auto gearbox for sale. Brand new Springs and shocks.

It is an unfinished project, but it is nearly done. All you need is a few items like a battery box, new battery, and a few miscellaneous parts like the bonnet clip and other sundry items, and to properly wire in the thermofans, they currently run at full speed.

The final work was done by Meek Automotive, and they did a nice job, they also modified the drive shafts to suit.

The motor is from Miodrag's RVR Hypergear, as is the gearbox, but the gearbox was converted to FWD by Rockabilly and is rock solid.

Brand new slightly lowered springs and shocks

It is sitting inside a modified Nimbus body, the front spoiler needs repair but the rest of the body is in good shape.

The interior needs work, the seats are great. Brakes are upgraded 4 wheel discs, along with engineers reports etc.

It has 4 new tyres, and there are a larger set of 19" rims that I will throw in with it, but they need tyres.

Realistically, you could buy it just for the motor and gearbox, or finish the job and have a truly unique vehicle.

Unfortunately I had another kid during the build, had to move and now do not have a workshop, the time or money to finish it off.

You will also need a battery and a new crank-angle sensor (about $165) as I took the one from it to use in my standard Nimbus when it's one failed.

There are a ton of spares, including a spare instrumentation set, the very expensive and hard to find round airflow meter, a full spare front-end wiring loom, and tons more that I will throw in if it sells for close to asking price.

I sadly have spent well over ten grand, the bill from Meek alone was nearly $4000, and I paid $3500 for the engine and gearbox (including gearbox mods), plus another $3500 in work getting the brakes, wiring, suspension done and fitted etc.

I'm only asking $3900 ono for the entire thing, the car is in Mudgee NSW 2850, and is not registered. I could potentially tow it on a car trailer as far as Lithgow or Bathurst/Dubbo/Orange.

I've lost my job and need the money badly, my daily driver has had it's gearbox die, so I need the cash to get a new box for it ( A UG Nimbus) so would be happy to take a gearbox as part trade. Having the car off the road and 4 kids is no fun!

I'll get photos up tomorrow, as well as copies of the Meek receipts etc. Open to any and all offers.

I am looking forward to the photos...... I will also consider taking just the car with out the engine or gearbox should you want to separate those items.

Yes, that is it, but not with those wheels any more and aged a bit :), and the front spoiler is broken in the middle.

Man I loved that Nimbus years ago. It won a few Autolason tropheys too. There would have been a time not too long ago I would have bought it off you having owned 2 x UF Nimbus's in the past.

Last time I saw it the front bar was cracked and looked like this pic.

All the leather interior still in it? You couldn't use the rear most seats to keep it a 7-seater because it had a massive stereo system in the back.

It originally had a GVR4 Cyclone intake engine in it at one stage so makes sense that you said its got Miodrag's Hypergear motor in it now.

Yes, the front spoiler is still cracked, uploading some photos now. The interior is still in it, some of the glued on panels need regluing, and it has worn a bit on the rear hatch interior.

I think the two rear seats are still there, but they haven't been reupholstered, they are currently folded down -you would just need to take the giant sub-box out of the back, which is a 10 second job.

The dash and centre console are not fully attached at the moment, and the interior would need some work, but I think everything is there.

I've had a lot of requests for more photos, so I will clean out the car and take some more of the interior tomorrow. The spares are currently in boxes in the back, so I'll need to unload it first.

... and more mixed pics I've kept over the years. I admired that car because it was a 7-seater (I would have ripped out the rear stereo) and different to the norm.

You can see the old GVR4 Cyclone engine in some of the pics.

A bit of TLC and it'll be sex-spec again.

In here the last pic shows a good look of where the rear seat has been converted into the stereo system. The rear seatbelts are still there, so maybe when the stereo gear comes out, the seat is still folded down flat into the floor. It would be easy to put the rear seat back in if it isn't. This is a 7-seater family pimp mobile  .
