That's not a good start, I go for a hello first and maybe a few beers and a barbie, but each to their own I guess.

Plus I already have a turbo toy (the Coupe) - I want to enjoy some naturally aspirated rpms!!
"StormTrooper" will donate its heart, ECU and wiring to a mate's LB lancer project.

Is apparently very straight and clean inside, clear is peeling badly from the bonnet, roof and boot but otherwise is in great condition for its age.
Will be bringing it home next week - stay tuned.

So did the road trip to Adelaide on Friday to pick this up - did the 750km door-to-door to get to my mate's place then we spent 7hrs in the garage swapping various bits n pieces from the white one to the grey one.
We needed to swap the fuel tanks, as the grey one had a dead pump and the fuel stank like varnish, so once the new tank and pump were put in with fresh 98RON we purged the lines then it fired up after a couple of cranks.
Runs really nicely and the exhaust has a nice rasp to it, so I'm pretty happy with that.
Swapped the Koni shocks into it, the OZ 15" rims and grabbed some trim bits n pieces needed and we loaded it up on the trailer at 12.30am that morning.
Grabbed some sleep then took off 6am and made the 750km return drive home.
Gave it a quick hose down with the pressure washer to get the first layer of dust, cobwebs and shit off it, but it needs a proper de-grease and hot water blast.
The clearcoat is stuffed but the panels are straight with only a little bit of rust in some spots, so the first item on the agenda is to rub it all back and give it a couple of quick coats with the pressure packs..... I'm thinking either satin black or a matte grey. I also want to paint the rims white or get some EVO2-3 OZ rims.....
