Currently building up my 93t engine to go back into the gsr. Wanting to run e85 so i have opted to replace the stock ecu with an evo 7 one. I have just about finished re pinning the 4 new evo 7 connectors but just wanting some guidance regarding what pins are not being used and just to make sure i have done it right as i have never attemped anything like this before. Also im looking for the pinout of the obd2 plug and reflash plug. Thanks

Also a bit about the build im doing. My car is a 1992 gsr. Have owned if for about 6 months now and picked it up reasonably cheap. Currently rebuildnig the 4g93t engine as it was getting a bit tired, it had done 240km on 13psi for most of its life. Forged internals, new everything basically. Going external gate with a tdo5 18g. So wanting to run the evo 7 ecu do i can have dual tunes so i can run 98 on longer drives as im from the country originally. Im from adelaide so there isnt a real lot of these around here, so no one really to put this to locally. Supporting mods will be 1000cc injectors, tube manifold with 3inch exhaust straight through. Big front mount and possibly going cams. So thats a bit of a rundown on the build.

Nah i haven't actually, but im pretty new to the evo/gsr world so ill look into it. I got a few pms and have worked out all my issues now but ill still check it out. Turns out the gsr loom is missing 5 or six wires out of the first plug compared to the evo 3 pinout.

which pinout chart did you use? because cc gsr 1.8 4g93t and evo 1-3 are near identical being that an e1-3 ecu will run a 4g93 with NO modifications to the loom
yes it's me KHUBNER

I still used the evo 3 pinout as a refference. Yea the pinouts are identical basically but the gsr loom has no wires running to pin 3,6,9,11 and 22 into the ecu i found. Which are all to do with the ac fans besides pin 6 and 9. The ac all runs off pin 45 for the gsr. Or thats what im assuming until i can test it.
