RPW is $1750 obvioysly + or - a bit,
Freight is the big killer as quaife only send via a certain courier, obviously buying multiple will drop freight slightly
If anyone has a pommy connection, that will probably save a bit if we can go via them... would have to be massively trust worthy

Hi Aldo,

FWD uses bigger shafts. 27 spline instead of 25 spline from memory. I think you will find that your magna box also has the big diff. This could add some difficulty to your conversion. You may be better off using the small diff that Aldo suggested. However, the big diff would be a nice upgrade if you can get away with it.

FWD Driveshafts will need to handle double the torque compared to the AWD. It makes sense that they need to be bigger.

You are right. The front splines into the Magna diff is bigger. Hopefully I can make it adapt. Or maybe Magna shafts will fit as a full replacement.

The hubs are what I use for my 5stud conversion. So outers match.

Its the jack-shaft that is going to be the problem. The Magna one might not fit your block and the Eclipse one might not have the right offset for FWD Auto.

I just did some reading on dsmtalk. The option I have is to purchase a front diff with the smaller splines (quaife). If I can find a solution for this locally them I might have to bite the bullet and get a front diff. I'm just hoping the box fits in the engine bay!
