Is that the new barrel or the original one?

It's odd that they are after a particular car so much, yet have no idea how to steal one. Pole smokers

Exactly my thoughts too.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I need to buy/replace to get it all done? Im looking at the whole ignition barrel assembly that attaches to the steering column and also both the upper and lower plastic steering surrounds...

I have the upper and lower plastics if you need a set.
My tip would be to start locking the car...you posted earlier that you never lock it.

If I cant find a local plastic set I'll holla at you. I was going to have the alarm installed tomorrow but they might not do it with the ignition the way it is now. I could be wrong?

Im thinking easiest way will be the front door handles and steering coulmn from anyother lancer. This way you wony need to mess with matching key or 2 keys or swapping barrels etc id offer you the gsr one i have here but i dont have a key for it.

I would be taking spark plug wires out or the igniter or fuses when you park it ATM if there is someone personally going after your car.
