Myself , Dean and Barry have been throwing around the idea of a East Coast meet that would be held in Sydney next year. I have an idea of a location, just waiting for there OK before I post location. I've also messaged fast fours magazine to see if this would interest them. It's only an idea at the moment and as I have never organised something this before , I'm looking for any help and all people that would interested.

There is some serious interest from the Adelaide guys. Possibly 5-6 cars atm. 2 being race cars keen for a hillclimb or something similar. Please keep us informed

Thanks. Yes still have it. Looking very sad in the corner tho. Running gear in another car. This may be an incentive to get it going again

Cool , I was thinking about SA. Just did not know if anyone would be keen. I'll add the details into the SA section.

I don't know about hillclimbs as I would know where to find info on when and where that are held. But maybe a wsid meet or if the is a casual track day...

How much is car transport? So I can take both the AMG and Vr4? Lol...

Even if not racing, what about wtac 2017? Or power cruise in NSW or ACT?

I haven't looked I to it yet. I was talking more about guys that drive up and down the coast , sometimes you can find guys that will give you good deals when they have space left .

I've seen elsewhere a mention of including late model VR4's (& I assume Legumes?) with a "more the merrier" attitude. Personally I would like to see it as an 87-92 model meet. Otherwise late models would out number us significantly & I would be less likely to attend. I'm not interested in a large Egonats type event. Would much rather a group of like minded owners & cars with an event or 2.

That would count out most of the GSR and Evo owners capping it at 92....bit pointless.
Wouldnt be much of a "mega meet" then would it?

Sorry, I thought we were discussing a VR4 meet as mentioned on FB. Personally I don't think I would attend if it was open to all models. Evo's & GSR's already have the Egonats - which VR4's aren't welcome at.

That's a great point. Let's get enough interest from e38/39 VR4 and make it happen. We can't stop other turning up but we can make sure the event is focused on the original VR4. Your correct gsr and evo's have heaps of events.

Not really. I went to EgoNats a few years ago and I was the only early car. Its more set up for the later 6/7/8/9s and give no shit for cars that don't have vortex generators. :D
