I also inspected almost every single car on the carsales man, there are a lot of evos that look great on the outside but not so good underneath. Rust will be the end of these great cars, it's such a shame.
We ended up with the car in the link below, it is as close to an Aus delivered evo (in regards to rust) as I have ever seen. 82xxxk's, compression @ (187, 190, 190, 190), feels, looks and drives like it.
Obviously we payed less then the asking price.

Nice one! I'm sure you'll get lots of enjoyment from it. It always annoys me when I see the MRs without the BBS rims on them though!

Amazing that these cars which are nearing 15 years old are still holding their value relatively well.
