Interesting feedback.

Does anyone know what yellow plates have sold recently?

I think there was the clean original silver 2 from Sivart that Gerard bought. Sold for $15-16k?

There was a modified 2 on gumtree not that long ago?

Can't remember the colour but the work was done by Meek from memory.

Ah that one's been for sale for a while - I think we had all agreed that there was something dodgy sounding about it.  I have never heard of a RS2.

That particular car has a rebuild VIN, can't be registered in NSW.

Key question is how many people are there that would actually be interested in buying a yellow plate car? It seems that interest in 1-3s and GSRs is pretty low these days because later/better cars are cheap and our cars are generally needing expensive repairs due to age (eg box, engine, roof rust etc).

Even this forum is very quiet these days!

^Nailed it man, I was looking at buying a yellow plate E3 (if the right one came up) for the last 3-4 months, was only last month when I decided against it in favour of gettin an old school rota or rotary of some sort, main reason- 30k for an e3 is a tad high so I may as well go an play with something else I always wanted
And yeah, alot of forums are queit now thanks to facebook... might be time I sign up... hmmmm

Hahaha, yeah, still wont be enough to get me signing up, and if i did, I'd want to have 0 friends on my friend list (or what ever its called) lol
Facebook cracks me up, its all "look at me, are you jealous" or "life sucks..." posts... pathetic people needing other peoples approval really, not really for me

All very true. I have unfollowed alot of people purely because of all the attention seeking bullshit they post. Unfortunately though FB is sometimes the only way to stay informed of some things I do care about (ie Track Days!). I just ignore 98% of the crap now and only post car and dog pictures anyway.

I wonder even if you were offering $30k whether you could find one is good question! :D

Old Rotor would be cool if you can find one thats not on 22" chromies!

Yeah I avoid facebook too, but I guess its getting harder and harder to avoid.

Forums are good... But unfortunately Facebook does have its place.

Cruises, messaging and quick responses.

Forums are better to store data and save details for future access. I try and record as much on here as possible just in case I need to go back and refer to something.

My Facebook is almost all cat related.. Lol
My friends struggle to get past all the car photos.
