I wonder even if you were offering $30k whether you could find one is good question! :D

Old Rotor would be cool if you can find one thats not on 22" chromies!

Yeah I avoid facebook too, but I guess its getting harder and harder to avoid.

I ended up finding one an the bloke said he would sell for 28k, I wasnt expecting that high an would be happy at 20-23 top, 28k... pass thanks,

Chrome + old school rota = win
Chromies + old school rota = hospital
I have to wait now anyway, but nothing I own will ever be on chromies'

Interesting. Stockish? Or highly modified?

I tried to build up some sort of picture before about the number of yellow plate cars around about 6 months ago, but people seem reluctant to share the information. I was hoping it would actually benefit yellow plate owners as it might show the lack of them around.

Nice!

Was fairly stock, 140km, drop in cams, exhaust, gauges, and a re-tune, but came with a few good bits too, He was an older bloke and wasnt really keen to sell anyway

And yeah I saw ya try put a database together, I was a skeptic on wether it would work due to the variences, eg retagged, a martin griggs, even just knock off gsrs being re reg'd,
A strict yellow plate register would be the interesting one though

OK! interesting!

Yeah looks like no one was keen.

Given there are less and less good cars around, and a lot of the ones that seem to be popping up have (usually dodgy) stories, I thought it might be interesting....

That's Alan's. I've seen it too and it looks great. Has had the Evo3 drivetrain and interior installed too apparently.

Is this car the one that was originally from NSW then went to WA then sold about 1-2 years ago (guessing moved east)?

That green is a rare colour, so if it is the same car, then I know the two prior NSW owners.

yup that's the one. he also told me it has evo 3 engine and drivetrain. I believe parts came from a evo 3 from japan.

He told us he purchased an EVO3 from Toyshop and parted that out.  The engine and drivetrain apparently came from that.  It was the white stickered up one that he was selling various bits and pieces from on FB.

So can anyone confirm if that was the car that was in WA about 9-12 months ago?

Can't be too many green Evo 1s around!

No sorry.

From memory the first owner was a guy called Dave that had contacts in Japan to bring in personal imports (ie Japanese friends who's name was on the paperwork in return for a fee). I know he brought in at least 4x Evo 1s round about 2000. A red, a green (this one?) and two white ones.

The second owner I think was a girl called Lauren who lived in the inner west. I thought the car then went to WA.

Wouldn't surprise me as I think it was daily driven by its owners.
