I thought you guys would like to check out this legend of a Lancer here in New Zealand,
Its been racing for the last 12 seasons straight! 
 
Ran a best of 9.54 @ 232kph with the factory 4wd, then switched to rwd and has ran a best of
8.62 @ 262kph. He has a new engine this season and is pushing for 7s.

Im thinking it'd be a mix of reliabilty, power loss and weight baz,

Unbelievable though, 12 straight seasons!

Maybe cause of Shaynes fav topic.....more gearbox options to choose from rather than a Matthias special?

Im totally sure why he went rwd but i think he wanted more consistency and reliability.. ill try and find a video
