I've been looking at yahoo auctions japan a LOT since buying my GSR, and am currently looking at getting a few (well, all) of the products laile offer for the cd5a. They don't have anything in the form of engine/sump plates available for the cd5a, but they do have the above item listed for the cd9a/ce9a.

My question is, what is the difference between the front ends of the GSR to the Evo? Is it purely due to the difference between g93t/g63t?

I'd be surprised if they didnt fit the gsr as well
Front end differences are sway bar and its mounting points and the lower control arms,
visually- the subframe looks the same though

How much is that worth landed here?
More than your GSR?

Haha. Exchange rate puts this one at about $850 to my door.

The fact that I'm planning to keep my GSR long term means I'm willing to spend a bit more for parts for it, plus it'd give me piece of mind for driving on dodgy central Qld roads with a lowered car.

The item says it fits CD9A, and I thought the sway bar points and lca's are the same on the GSR and Evo 1, or are the different?

Is there nothing on the motors are different enough to cause it to not fit? Like the 63t sump or oil filter sitting lower/higher or something?

Either way they dont sit lower between the 2 so I see no reason that it wouldnt fit.

Nothing mentioned, but the guy I get stuff through estimated about 8kg. He's usually pretty accurate.
