Hey everyone,

 

New to the forum but thought id post a few picks of my new ride / first evo.

A friend said to me that when you drive one you'll never go back and after 24 hours i see what he means

Anyways let me know your thoughts and if anyone knows a good evo tuner in Victoria, Aus please pm me!

Troy tuned my 5 and is a well known evo tuner in springvale, ask most evo owners who tunes theres and you'll hear burnzy tuned a lot

I more just want someone to have a look over it who's an expert and can give me some good advice about the condition its in, what it needs etc. 

Im a fairly ammeter mechanic at best so would rather pay the money to someone who knows what there doing. 

 

You reckon it would cost much the get my lifters replaced?

Also need to fix the speedo (think its the gearbox sensor) :s

 

Other than that the car is pretty mint....

Oh, he's more just for actual tuning, mechanically... well I do all my stuff my self so can't really help ya there,
Where are you located? Lifters are a piss easy job, same with the speedo issue, just need to diagnose it an get the parts, will more than likely be a simple job

The car looks great.
There are a few shops down your way.

I go to Springy Performance in Springvale (95468777). There is Revspeed auto in Clayton also.

Lifters are a rather basic job. Is it ticking, tried an oil flush\change? The quick way is to do it without removing the cams and timing belt. Saves a few hours but you need a special rocker removal tool.

I am a sucker for a black EVO. I see you have a glare strip too... must have been a kiwi owner you got it off?

It was an English dude, had the darkest tint on it but had to be removed for rwc. Not sure if I'm going to re-tint, if I do I will go legal to avoid attention an defects :s the glare strip is actually quite good!
