Good day everyone,

 

I was looking to change out my drivetrain fluids and was having trouble determining exactly which fluid I needed do to having the oem front LSD transmission. I ended up going to the Translator subreddit and putting in a request for the mitsu service plate under the hood. Here are the results (forgive the dirty underhood/bonnet):

Engine oil change

Gasoline or LPG vehicles

Excluding turbo vehicles - 15,000 km or every 12 months (SE grade or higher)

Turbo vehicles - 5,000 km or 6 months (SE grade or higher)

Diesel vehicles - 5,000 km or 6 months (CC grade or higher, turbo vehicles CD grade or higher)

Engine oil filter change

Gasoline vehicles (excluding turbo) / LPG vehicles - 15,000 km or 12 months

Gasoline vehicles (with turbo) / Diesel vehicles - 10,000 km or 12 months

Timing belt change – every 100,000 km

Fuel filter change

Gasoline vehicles (MPI) – every 100,000km

Gasoline vehicles (excluding MPI) or LPG vehicles – 40,000 km

Diesel vehicles – 20,000 km

Transmission fluid change

Manual transmission

2WD FF vehicles excluding Kei-vehicles – every 80,000 km

4WD vehicles, 2wd FR vehicles or Kei-vehicles – every 40,000 km

  • (Diamond queen multi-gear oil #75W/85W)

Automatic transmission – every 40,000 km

  • (Diamond queen ATF-SP)

Transfer oil change (4WD vehicles only) – every 40,000 km

  • (Diamond queen multi gear oil #75W, 85W)

Differential fluid change

Normal differential – every 80,000 km

  • (Diamond queen super hypoid gear oil #80, #90)

Limited Slip Differential

VCU type – every 80,000 km

  • (Diamond queen super hypoid gear oil #80, #90)

Mechanical type – every 40,000 km

  • (Diamond queen LSD gear oil)

Np, I was more than happy to share. Clearly I'm not the most active member, but I lurk more than enough =P

If it helps, this is from an Evo 1 GSR. I'm assuming the plate is fairly universal though since it has diesel motors included.

Wonder how many people are changing their diff and gearbox fluid every 40,000kms like they should? :D
