Hi guys. I am going to attempt to install a security system to the RVR over the next week and I think the central locking is negative triggered. Does anyone know which wire is best to tap into please?
Thanks in advance.

Cool bro. I traced it from inside the door as brown/white one but just lost it inside the cab... had no patience that day and haven't returned to it. Lol!

Take the trim under the steering wheel (the one that has the speaker grill in it), you'll then see a bunch of relays on a white-ish relay block. Undo the two 10mm bolts at the top of it so you can access the back, or alternatively you can break your forearm, pull your eye from it's socket and duct tape it to the arm so you can see the wires..........

The wires are behind the large relay.

Look for the two wires pictured, I can't remember which one is lock or unlock so you'll have to test them before committing to a solid solder joint/splice.

I should probably post up the pics of the work I've done on my door internals..............have I made a thread already about it? I should put a write up in the FB group.
These cars are really easy to get into

I remember a write up you did about adding a plate or similiar to behind the handle to make it harder to get into...

Ah yes, I remember that. I have taken so long getting shit done that they almost qualify as folklore.
