Hello all,

I've been looking up what standard size GSR tyres are available (just for interests sake), and I can't find any that are actually speed rated for the GSR.

195 60 r14 for the GSR need to be load rated 85 minimum and speed rate V minimum.

The tyres I've found are fine load rating wise, but speed rating doesn't go above H.

I know H is the value just below V, but if a DoT officer was being really picky you could get defected for not running the correct speed rated tyre.

Are there any 195 60 r14 out there that are rated to V? (Even the Advan A050 R are only rated to H).

In all the times Ive had a car inspected not once were the rating of tyres checked?
Are you over thinking this possibly?

Probably. I just know it's a thing, and I've had it checked in the past on another car I had, purely because they were trying to find things to defect.

I'm more just curious about whether tyres within the specs actually exist.
