favorite evo holset builds

So I am getting all the parts together to put a hx35 onto my evo, but Id like some inspiration and maybe learn a few things. If you guys have a favorite build or have done this route yourself please post up some pics and links ( if allowed ) . 

 

the set up I plan on doing a t3 manifold with a tial f38 wastegate set around 17psi, tial 50mm bov, Holset hx35 turbo with a hx40 60mm inducer wheel, and a hx35 exducer wheel in a 12cm t3 housing, custom o2 housing, 4" intake pipe, speed desnity, and IF ECM link will ever answer my emails I would like to run link but if not I will get link G4 or haltech. I also will be running 1000cc injector dynamic's, larger intake mani, custom intercooler pipes and I think thats everything?

I don't know much about all of that. But would still say if you can't get the ecmlink sorted, go for a later evo ecu and evoscan.

Evo 6 Ecu
Turbosmart 40mm external gate
MaPerformance dump pipe with screamer
1050 cc FIC Injectors
Walbro 460lph pump
Custom -6 fuel feed setup
Aeromotive FPR
Custom cooler pipes on the hotside
Custom intake box
3" from dump exhaust.
Goes alright

Does evoscan come with as many features as link would have and how hard is it to swap in a newer Evo ecu? I can get Evo 8 ECUs pretty easily here if that's better ?

Some evo8 ecu have the similar plugs as a evo9. For ease, you should use a ecu that has similar plugs to what you have now.
There is retrofit guides here somewhere.

I would suggest a late evo ecu has as many features as the full version of ecmlink

Thanks I was not aware that some of Evo 8s were a different plug. I may have to keep my eyes open for a evo 4-6 ecu then.

nice set up man how do you like it? and how are your trans holding up im scared to push power out of mine because parts are super hard to find for the trans here,

good man blow a diff cover and cv in half because iv got 280 i hit full boost at 4800-5k 30psi hx35 would spool a lot quicker n small cams i run a evo1 rs box n diff
