The dreaded roof rust has ruined the roof on my Evo. Looking for a new roof skin, the supports, the weather strips and rubbers for the windows.
Have tried emailing some Proton spare parts places here in Adelaide, but I have gotten no response. I assume I probably need a VIN number to go through those channels.
Any contacts would be great.
Regards,
Craig

I think these replacement roofs will become unavailable soon. The donor protons are getting old now.

If you on Facebook, look up chris Payne, he was going to get some in for himself and had lined up a couple of other people. Haven't heard of he got them yet though.
Or just join the 'everything early evo' page and ask there as he's an admin there

Thanks all.
Will try and get a VIN number for a Proton and source locally, the post on Facebook for the group buy was for local pick up in the Brisbane area unfortunately.

If you scope out Redbook and look for the wira's they have actual VIN numbers. I used one to get my roof not too long ago.

They are actually metal....with a black coating which eventually peels away to reveal shiny metal!

There is a topic on here Evo 1 Roof rust (I think) where I have listed all the part numbers and prices from when I did the job on my Evo a little while back.
