Hey guys, I've just got my self a 7 bolt 2L turbo RVR motor for my gsr cc. Haven't fit it yet. Could anyone give me some feed back on what the differences are compared to an evo 3 motor? Are the heads ported like an evo 3 etc?

I think there was a thread on this topic a while ago but i can't seem to find it. I've also heard they get crank walk after some time? Is this due to holding the clutch down at the lights etc? I always have the car in neutral at lights.

I'm not dropping the motor in the car until i get it forged. Has anyone had any experience with an 7bolt RVR motor in a GSR CC lancer? I'm planning on getting around 500wheel hp out of the motor but also keeping it streetable and not a lag monster. Has anyone on here gotten that sought of power out of an 7 bolt forged RVR motor? if so what exactly is required? Thank you all!

I'll do a decent update on my Web page and add a link.

The sticky is good and highlights majority of requirements but not all.

Where are you located mate? I'm in Brisbane and as I build these motors fairly often I could probably help you out some... send me a pm if interested anyways
didn't have time do do it right but found the time to do it twice....
